Live game
Build a rocket and fly to Mars: dodge aliens, manage fuel, and land back on Earth.
How to play
You design and launch rockets from real-world spacecraft and engines, aiming to reach Mars and return home within a $120M budget. Stack parts like tank modules, engines (Rutherford, Merlin, RS-25, F-1), parachutes and landing legs, then pilot through the atmosphere, past patrolling alien saucers, and across the solar system. Each milestone from liftoff to Mars landing awards points; the cheaper your successful Mars round trip, the higher you rank on the global leaderboard. You can play with friends: they appear on the roster showing their current altitude and score, and the cheapest rockets this session display for all to see.
Tips
- Reach orbit: roughly 2200 m/s of delta-v will lift you from sea level to a circular orbit around Earth.
- Mars and back: you need at least 5000 m/s total delta-v to land on Mars and return to Earth; cheaper rockets score…
- Alien dodging: avoid the 80+ saucers patrolling Earth orbit and guarding Mars; flying through their warning radius…
- Parachutes open automatically below 260 m/s when you reach thick atmosphere; add one to land safely on Earth (capsule…
